I'm a new hairfarm user and I'm extremely pleased with it. Just thought I'd post my first efforts using the plug in. I'm rendering in vray with standard max lights. I plan to do a little more with the hair and add eyelashes next. I'd love to get any feedback or tips.

Good start. One crit is that beard hairs are usually thicker than the head hair, I think you could try to make them thicker and maybe adding a bit more randomness with a frizz or kink modifiers.
Also, this is not hair related, but the SSS looks a bit too strong to me.

Here is an update, I've made changes the beard which is now stubble, added eyelashes and played with the settings for the hair and eyebrows. I have also worked on the eye and skin shaders.

cem - Thanks you for creating a hair plug-in I can actually use.

Woodys3d - Thanks for the feedback I shortened the beard to more of a stubble, this guy may end up a space marine or future soldier so no beards allowed. I've also taken your advice on the SSS and toned that down some.

spellcraft - Thanks, I used a HairMesh Brush modifier to do the eyebrows
