Hey guys,

much more to come ( for now the eyelash has no mascara, I will add for the version make up, with longer eyelash, darker, etc )

thank's man ,. 3hours to render that lol. But it depend wich hdri image im using, etc.. some take 2 to 3 times less or more the time to render so.. but still slow.. too much stuff going on,. and I only have 16 gig of ram.. and while rendering the ram in into the roof.. so it do not help.

Hey guys,

Here's a close up of the eye so far, not totally finish, but it's coming along.. my 16 gig computer is begging for more RAM now lol.. I will need to buy an other 8 gig otherwise I will not be able to render the hairs in a single render pass..

it's a bit noisy render but I dont want to wait forever ^^

Wouaw, the displace is very sharp !!

Yes the combo Hair/Displace/SSS is very time/memory consuming !!
(maybe you can lower the number of additional steps...)

What is your rendering engine ?
How many strand do you have !?

Moe.

hey thank's man

rendered in Vray.

Strands, you means how much hairs or segments? jsut the facial hairs I have 700 000 .. and I need more..but my 16 gig of ram are limiting me right now..

Yes segment, you can optimise your render time (and memory usage) with less segment (additional steps).

I haven't try yet, but with vray 3 you can faster your render time with hair computation !

Hey thank's man :)

Here's an update, almost finish the base hair shape, will need to add more hair strands but I think the most boring part is done now :)

And here a 2 straight output render with different nose shape (the original one and a new one) , wich one you prefer between the 2 ? I'll post a front view also later , for now it was render with 2 different lighting so it can be hard to compare.

and 2 more:

And a cropped version of the full render that was W/B . I will put the nostrill darker and more redish in the diffuse, it's what attrac the attention.. the diffuse is not finished yet in some place.. like this one so it show`s.

Image

ha and some noise small render of one light changing posititon to see how the eyes react.
