Great hair work, and a nice commercial too! :ok:

Would you mind providing some more information, like how many people worked on it, how long did it take to complete (especially hair), etc.
Thanks!

Hi Cem!

Thanks!

The project took about 3 weeks to complete with 3 people. (Andrei Brovcenco - concepts, direction, modeling , rigging, hair, animation; Vasile Brovcenco - modelling, art direction, texturing; Bogdan Tufecciu - texturing)

The speed and flexibly of Hair Farm helped us a lot with accomplishing more in such tight deadlines.
We spent two weeks on props , character modeling and character setup.
Good thing that we had very flexible rigs and the animation process took about 4 days.
The fur was done with brushing -> HairMesh modeling -> Two layers of generated strains plus modifiers like cluster, frizz, wisps (squirrel's tail).
On the hedgehog, I used hair to poly modifier to render the thick and sharp aspect of its spines.
We used Hair Farm Zdepth and Velocity render elements for depth of field and motion blur in compositing.
With mental ray we rendered the room and standard scanline render for the characters.
Good thing it was PAL + Wide so the rendered area was smaller. Took 3 days to render and composite.
One computer rendered the hair (Intel Core i7 960 @3Ghz, 8 gb ddr3) while two where working on the environment(room) for the next shot. The average shot with all three characters took about 5 hours to render.

I'm glad you like it Cem!
Kind Regards,
Andrei
