Re: Male and Female hairstyles

Thanks for the comments!

If I'm ever allowed to show the male face, I will update the image.

Male and Female hairstyles

2 new hairstyles I've done. I only did the hairs, heads were done by Lee Perry-Smith (Infinite).

The male hairstyle also has facial hair, but I'm not allowed to show the face, so that's why it has been distorted.

Re: 7 Hairstyles [MILD NUDITY]

Thanks!

I haven't done the heads, just the hairs, so I don't know if there's a reason for the small iris or if they are the final version. I only can say I've been able to see some of the characters textured, and they look spectacular.

Re: 4 Hairstyles

I've been working a lot with hair-farm lately, and now I can show some of the results. I did these hairs for a client. The head was not this one for the job, I had to change it to be able to show the hairstyles, so there may be places where the hairs cross the head or where they are too far away fr...

Re: Male Head

Good start. One crit is that beard hairs are usually thicker than the head hair, I think you could try to make them thicker and maybe adding a bit more randomness with a frizz or kink modifiers.
Also, this is not hair related, but the SSS looks a bit too strong to me.

Sorceress

I started this project arround 2 or 3 years ago, but I had to pause it, and has been on hold since then for a really long time. I recently decided to finish it, and here's the result. It was done with max, zbrush, photoshop and hair-farm. I used it to create the hairs, an almost invisible body hairs...

Re: Blonde female Wip

As Cem said, turning on speed up is the first you could do. Also, looking at the hairs in front of the ear it looks like they are too thin or that there are too few of them (human hair has something from 100k to 140k hairs I think). The way you describe the modifiers you used sound a good way to go,...

Re: Thirsty fairy

Thanks Cem! I'm not really happy with the old version, that's why I removed it from the galleries, so I prefer not to show it because I think it don't shows a minimum level of quality, but just so you have an idea, the hair was a mesh I did in Zbrush with a hair texture and opacity maps at the tips,...

Thirsty fairy

This is an image I did about 3 years ago, but while I liked the idea, I didn't liked the result I got then, so I removed it from my galleries. I saw the old image a few weeks ago, and decided it would be a good idea to redo it, so I tweaked a few things on the model, and did new textures, hair and l...

Re: 4 Hairstyles

Thanks for your comments.

Sorry it took me so long to asnwer, but I couldn't find the moment to take the screenshots. I can show you this hairmesh, it's the blonde one in the last image. I'm not sure I can show the others, as those were done for a client.

Re: 4 Hairstyles

Thanks a lot for your comments! Sure, I can explain a bit the process, I do more or less the same for any kind of hair. I have a couple of scalps (one more dense than the other) prepared to be placed on the model I want to add hair to. I usually start creating the base layer of hair, usually using 2...
