Kuroe -> I use haircaps, this way I can also tweak a bit the mesh so it fits better for the hair I have to create.

Thanks again for your comments! Here's the hairmesh I used for that hairstyle. The top row shows the main hairmesh. Here's the last character I've done with hair farm. The braid was a bit tricky to do, but I'm happy with the result, more than with the previous attempts I did.

Those animals are fantastic. I remember I tried to do a wolf like 6-7 years ago, but the result was... well, I prefer not to remeber it. Anyway, those renders really inspire me to try it again.

The skin fuzz looks fantastic, even with the DoF. It's subtle, but it makes a difference.

I'm curious about how you do that short hair or the eyebrows. Do you prefer hairbrush or hairmesh edit?

Yes, that's really interesting. I think I did it really, really subtle in this character, so that's why it looks too soft. I will keep that in mind for the next ones.
