Re: Woman hair in progress
Here's the final scene that I was working on. This was a technical exercice. I wanted to try a few things with my skin shader, the lighting and the process of exporting from zbrush to max. Once I had all the tests done I decided to show the character, but instead of just rotating it to show it from ...

Re: wolf new age
Fantastic!
The cat reminds me of the one in Shrek, when he puts that cute face to get what he wants.

Re: Woman hair in progress
Thanks again for the comments!
Kuroe -> I use haircaps, this way I can also tweak a bit the mesh so it fits better for the hair I have to create.

Re: Woman hair in progress
Thanks again for your comments! Here's the hairmesh I used for that hairstyle. The top row shows the main hairmesh. There are 2 diferent hairmeshes, the yellow and the blue one, and I could really had only used one, but I prefered to separate them for no specific reason. Those meshes have a hair gen...

Re: Woman hair in progress
Thanks a lot for all the comments! Cem -> Thanks! I've just discovered the hairmesh link modifier wich this one. I've only used to apply a push modifier in this one, but it has a lot of possibilities I think. instinctvfx -> Thanks! I'm sure you will, it's just a matter of practice. Luiz Amaral -> Ye...

Woman hair in progress [NUDITY]
I'm working on the hair for this new model. I want to tweak a few things I've just seen in this renders, but I'm happy with the result so far. I'm looking for feedback, to see how can it be improved. The lighting it's not final, I still haven't decided how will the scene be lighted, so I just have a...

Re: Good girl? [MILD NUDITY]
Yes, I'm probably more comfortable modeling extra hairmeshes than creating a very complex modifier and alphas setup, and considering how easy it is to use the hairmesh Edit modifier, this system works like charm for me. You are right about wisps and clusters, they do mostly the same and I could prob...

Re: Good girl? [MILD NUDITY]
Thanks a lot, I'm happy you liked it. Here are the screenshots. They look a bit messy, as I used several hair meshes to create the styling. On each side, I have 2 hair meshes to define the braids (the yellow one is the main braid, and the green one is used to create uncombed hairs that escape from t...

Good girl? [MILD NUDITY]
Here's the last character I've done with hair farm. The braid was a bit tricky to do, but I'm happy with the result, more than with the previous attempts I did.
Hope you like it!

Re: Male hair in progress
Thanks for the help. I've been working a bit more on it, here's the result. I've reduced a lot the hair to object shadows to see a bit better what was going on, I will worry about them once I compose the hair with the render. Infinite, I had almost all what you suggested on, but it was probably too ...

Male hair in progress
I'm currently working on the hair for a male model I'm doing. That's the progress I've got till now.
I'm looking for some feedback for it and how could it be improved.

Re: wolf new age
Those animals are fantastic. I remember I tried to do a wolf like 6-7 years ago, but the result was... well, I prefer not to remeber it. Anyway, those renders really inspire me to try it again.

Re: Dawson - Scans and lots of Hair-Farm details.
The skin fuzz looks fantastic, even with the DoF. It's subtle, but it makes a difference.
I'm curious about how you do that short hair or the eyebrows. Do you prefer hairbrush or hairmesh edit?

Re: Fashion Model
Yes, that's really interesting. I think I did it really, really subtle in this character, so that's why it looks too soft. I will keep that in mind for the next ones.

Re: Fashion Model
Thanks for the comments! I'm very happy with the result, but I'm sure I can still do better hairs with this plugin, I need some more experience. This hair has bump noise on it, a very small fractal noise, but it's hard to notice at this size. How's that noise channel supposed to be used? Is there an...

Fashion Model
Hi all, I've finished my first character using Hair-farm. I still have to learn some tricks about it, but it's an incredible plugin. With this Fashion Model image I tried to do a shot that could fit in a fashion advertising. I used max for the low poly modeling and rendering, Zbrush for high-poly mo...
