Conan the destroyer by Bigguns
Hi all!
I want to share with you my upcoming project, I'm converting my Arnold as a Conan version, I tweaked the face and I will add all the hairs, fur and all with hairfarm, can't wait to play with
So to start here is the sword and some gadjet. the sword is not finish to textured, need to had a dirt layer and by the way it's all polymodeling, no zbrush.
I must finish the cloths and find a cool pose for him, so next post it will be with some hairs tests I have lots of fur to do on the clots too

WOW! That is some amazin work coming up ! Cant wait to see the job with the hair!
Hard to see modelers who do these type of models with just polygon modeling (without displacements/normal maps from zbrush)..and this is a grt job at that !
Can you share the wires too please ?

Really nice. Would also love to see a wire frame.
How many polys to the sword?

Re: Conan the destroyer by Bigguns
hey thank's all!
I will post wireframe of the sword next post, with turbosmooth(iteration 2) on I guess it was about 270K polys. But the low poly is pretty low, maybe 30K. I will ook at this next time ;l
Now I'm doing the boots, so I test hairfarm on it before going to sleep, worked well
I need to textures the boots and render them into mentalray and then comp the fur. it will be on next post.
So for now it's what I got. And an other light test for Conan.
Hope you like it

Nice boots. You get them through LL Bean?
Really the fur looks real. Great job.

LL Bean is a outdoor equipment supplier here in the USA. They have some great outdoor boots.Bigguns wrote:thx all!

But I do mean "great job." I want a screen cap of the hair shader used for the fur. It is fantastic!
